MIDDLE FALLS, N.Y. -- A 12-year-old Greenwich boy is still missing, and search teams are out for the second week combing the area for him.

"We just want him to come home safe. We want to see his beautiful smile, and we just want to hear his voice," said Barbara Reeley, Jaliek Rainwalker's maternal grandmother.

He hasn't been seen or heard from since November 1st. Now police are concentrating on the woods and ponds at the Battenkill Country Club.

"Late last week we were in here with search and rescue and their dogs, and the dogs showed a great deal of interest in this pond behind me. We gave them some time off and we brought them in yesterday and we got the same results. We feel that this whole area needs to be thoroughly searched," said Cambridge-Greenwich Police Chief George Bell.

Police also say they haven't ruled out foul play, but that if he has just run away, they are starting to lose hope he'll be found alive.

Bell said, "If Jaliek ran away and hasn't been picked up and has just wandered off, I just feel today as we're standing here, some ten days into it, it's unlikely he's survived."

Even though this has been a long and frustrating search, with very few significant leads, police and search crews say the won't stop looking.

"As long as the leads continue to come in, we'll continue our search," said Bell.

Meanwhile, the boy's grandmother is hoping he's somewhere watching.

"We just want to know you're safe and happy. Call us. You have our home number. Please, " urged Reeley.

And while Jaliek's grandmother waits for that call, police urge anyone with information to call them.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Jaliek Rainwalker is asked to call 1-800-FIND-KID or any state police barracks.
