NEWBURGH, N.Y. -- A rabbi and two other men have been indicted on murder charges. An Orange County grand jury handed up the indictment Tuesday.
Police say Rabbi Victor Koltun, 41, of New Jersey, conspired with Frank Lewis, 56, of Brooklyn, and Craig Fennel, 51, of New York City, to kill Francis and Gerald Piscopo back in November.
Both men were found shot to death in a vacant apartment after being reported missing.
Koltun, Lewis and Fennel face charges of murder in the first degree, murder in the second degree, conspiracy and possession of a weapon.
The men face a maximum of life in prison without parole.
All three are expected to be arraigned Wednesday in Orange County Court.
