WORLDWIDE -- There are reports that former SU assistant basketball coach Bernie Fine has landed a new job. According to, a team in the Israeli Basketball Super League will announce today that Fine has been hired as a basketball consultant for the team, which is owned by Florida-based businessman Jeffrey Rosen.

The article says the team will include Fine on player personnel decisions, as well as the team's coaching search for next season, but he will work out of the U.S.
