KINGSTON, N.Y. -- A holiday home tour brings lovers of the season right to your door by way of the Kingston Holly Berry Trail.
In its 12th year running, the Berry Trail features homes decked out for the holidays all over Ulster County. The eight homes along the route were all kept a secret until Saturday when participants pick up their maps of the trail. Organizers say every home is eligible to be on the Holly Trail, all you need is some holiday spirit.
“A great mix of homes and everybody decorates different and it gives people a really great opportunity to, when they drive by that house and say I really want to know what that house looks like on the inside, that they get to do that,” said Melissa Riley, Junior League of Kingston President Elect.
The Berry Trail is the only fundraiser of the year for the Junior League of Kingston. It allows them to continue their mission of community service throughout Ulster County.
