ALBANY, N.Y. -- An anti-gun group in Albany says enough is enough after a deadly daylight shooting early this week. The group SNUG gathered with Mothers Against Murder at the scene of Tuesday's fatal shooting, at Second and Ontario Street.
Iquan Carter, 23, was killed in Tuesday's shooting.
"The shootings and killings need to stop, they are very senseless, and hopefully, at the end of all of this, all of us can sit down and try to come together," said Rahiem Jones, SNUG Program Manager.
"Brothers and sisters all over this city are losing their lives at a young age, they have so much potential here, and to see tragic incident happening over and over and over, you ask yourself, are we doing enough?" said an Albany resident, Owusu Anane.
Police are still looking for a motive, and suspect in the shooting.
