Yankees to play exhibition game against Army

  • Text size: + -

WEST POINT, N.Y. -- We've got snow on the ground out there, but believe it or not, it's almost time for baseball's spring training.

The New York Yankees will end their spring training right here in the Hudson Valley. The Bronx Bombers will be in West Point on March 30th for an exhibition game against Army's baseball team.

The 2 p.m. game will be the Yankees' last before they open the 2013 regular season.

It's not the first time the Yanks have visited West Point. They've held exhibition games on the campus in the past.

The club also held two workouts in front of cadets back in 1982.
