Knicks and Nets hope to keep 1-2 rankings in Atlantic Division

STATEWIDE -- The top of the Atlantic Divison in the NBA is all New York. The Knicks and Nets are one-two in the standings.

Tonight the Knicks take on Orlando at home. The Knicks will look for another big performance from Carmelo Anthony. He put up 42 points while J.R. Smith and Amare Stoudemire each added 18 points off the bench.

The Knicks were profitable the last time they played the Magic. They won 114-106 behind Anthony's 40 points. Wednesday's game is scheduled for 7:30pm.

Meanwhile, the Nets will play host to the Eastern Conference leader, Miami Heat. The Heat are only 1 1/2 games up on the Knicks and three games ahead of Brooklyn.

The Nets will play on short rest after beating Orlando 97-77 on Monday. Deron Williams led the way with 20 points and nine assists. The last time these two teams met, Miami won 102-89 with Dwayne Wade leading the way for all scorers with 34 points.

Tonight's game at the Barclays Center is set for 8:00pm.
