SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. -- We're learning more about Friday's raid on Grand Avenue in Saratoga Springs from people who saw it firsthand. Police tell us the raid happened around 5-30 Friday afternoon.

They executed a search warrant, taking six people into custody. The six men range in age from 21 to 59. Four live in Saratoga Springs, one lives in Glens Falls, and the sixth lives in Brooklyn.

Five face misdemeanor drug charges, but one man, Robert Durr, who lives at the Grand Avenue home, is facing a felony drug sale charge.

Police said the focus of the investigation was the distribution of cocaine, crack, heroine and pills.

We caught up with people in the area who watched the raid happen.

"I saw the house getting raided. They brought out about a half dozen men in cuffs, obviously, drug paraphernalia confiscated,” said Saratoga Springs resident John Penzer.

"I saw a helicopter flying over Beekman Street. So, I came down, saw six to seven people, all sitting on the ground, all arrested. I saw K-9 dogs, swat teams, swat trucks,” said Saratoga Springs resident Brian Oginksi.

Police said no shots were fired and no injuries were sustained during the raid. ClientIP:, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
