SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. -- Jazz fans gathered at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center over the weekend for the Freihofer's Saratoga Jazz Festival.

The two day, two stage celebration featured performances from Tony Bennett, Buddy Guy, David Sanborn and Bob James and many others.

The festival is one of the most celebrated and longest running jazz events in the world. More than half a million fans have attended the festival since it was established in 1978.

One of the highlights from this year's festival was the dedication of a “star” on SPAC’s Walk of Fame to Jazz Legend Dave Brubek. Brubek died in December of 2012. He wrote several jazz standards, including "The Duke.”

Brubek's last appearance at the festival was in 2009.

This weekend marked the 36th year of the festival.
