SCHENECTADY, N.Y. -- A rock barreled through the window of a Schenectady school bus, sending a student to the hospital.

The Schenectady City School District said a rock was thrown at a school bus carrying high school students Thursday afternoon.

The rock made a hole in the window and shattered some glass.

One student was hit by the shattered glass and sent to the hospital. There is still no word on the student’s condition.
