DELANSON, N.Y. -- A fire broke out Tuesday night on Mudge Road in Delanson.

According to officials, it happened just before 8 p.m. at 2174 Mudge Road. The owners of the home were not there when it happened. A neighbor called in the fire after seeing the flames.

It took eight crews to put the fire out. Water was used from a nearby pond due to lack of fire hydrants. Firefighters said the flames started in the back of the building, but the cause is still unknown.

Fortunately, nobody was injured. ClientIP:, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
