COBLESKILL, N.Y. -- A Massachusetts man has died after an accident on Interstate 88.

According to New York State Police, they responded to a one car rollover on the highway just before 10 p.m. on Sunday. They said Michael Clark, 21, was driving westbound when he attempted to avoid a deer in the road.

Troopers said Clark lost control, and rolled several times into the eastbound lane. A coroner pronounced Clark dead at the scene. Ezra Chamberlain, Melanie Pond, and Christopher Rose were also in the car. All three also attend Ithaca College, and were transported to Albany Medical Center.

State Police said the students were on their way back to Ithaca after Thanksgiving break.
