Man was driving drunk when he turned himself in for violating order of protection

CAPITAL REGION, N.Y. -- A Pattersonville man was driving to turn himself in for violating an order of protection, but State Police say when he arrived, his blood alcohol level was nearly three times the legal limit.

State Police say Dominick Lombardi, 42, failed all sobriety tests and had a 0.23 percent BAC.

Lombardi was charged with criminal contempt and aggravated DWI. He was released on $300 cash bail.
