ALBANY, N.Y. -- A "Cold Blue" status is activated in Albany for Wednesday and Thursday to help keep people out of the cold.

Code Blue is used to provide shelter for the homeless during this type of weather.

A Code Blue is called when the temperature is ten degrees or below, including wind chill.

Homeless people in the city can head to the Capital City Rescue Mission on South Pearl Street.
