TROY, N.Y. -- An $8.4 million bond referendum approved by Troy's school board was passed by city voters.

The referendum was for technology and safety upgrades throughout the district.

The technology and security upgrades recently put in the middle school will now be implemented throughout the buildings district-wide.

With the state aid the district is eligible to receive, the cost to the average district homeowner will be an additional $11 per year in taxes. ClientIP:, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
