Greenwich, N.Y. -- A 77-year-old man is dead after a house fire in Greenwich.

Firefighters responded Sunday night around 5 p.m. to 56 Salem Street. The fire spread to the two houses on either side. Crews were on the scene all night to put out the flames.

According to police, Paul Parker Sr., who lived on the bottom floor of the building was found dead inside.

No word yet on what may have caused the fire, but officials believe it may have started in the front living room. The home will have to be demolished.
