ALBANY, N.Y. -- Gregory's Barbershop held the 5th annual Haircut-A-Thon to raise money for cancer.
For $20, men got a cut or a shave that doubled for a good cause.
The money raised goes towards the' Coaches vs. Cancer' high school basketball tournament.
Organizers said the event is gaining more and more support every year.
"Every year our goal is to reach two thousand. We hit it two years ago and last year we hit sixteen hundred. To put it into perspective, the first year we seven hundred so it's growing quite a bit,” said Greg Zorian, owner of Gregory’s Barber Shop.
The tournament takes place at Albany Academy next weekend.
