NEW YORK STATE -- Four New York National Guard Members are suspended from funeral details following an incident at a training facility in Arkansas.
The New York members along with ten others training for funeral detail, posed in this picture around an empty casket draped in the American flag.
One member posted the photo to social media and an investigation is now underway.
The Chief of the National Guard Bureau said Wednesday this does not represent the values of the National Guard.
And New York National Guard responded to the photo saying: "We all understand the solemn and serious nature of these ceremonies. Our members have performed this service with tremendous dignity and reverence since 1999 for more than 100,000 New York military families. These honors are in no way diminished by the actions of a few."
