DAYTON, OHIO -- The UAlbany men's basketball team is getting ready for their first-round game in the NCAA tournament.

They'll take on Mount Saint Mary's in Dayton, Ohio, tomorrow night.

The winner of that game will play the tournament's overall number one seed, Florida, on Thursday.

The Danes are coming off their second straight America East tournament title.

Peter Hooley, Sam Rowley and Coach Will Brown spoke with the press this afternoon.

Brown says he is very proud of his players and coaching staff.

"A lot of people are involved in the success of our program and we are going to try and do our best to represent those people and the city of albany. We are going to play hard against a very good opponent, Mt. Saint Mary's. We will enjoy that two hour spotlight and give it out best shot. We are really looking forward to it and excited to be here," Brown said.

Stay with Time Warner Cable News, Sports Director Marisa Jacques will be on the road for the duration of the Great Danes' run in the tournament. ClientIP:, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
