KINGSTON, N.Y. -- For the second time in less than a year, police say a Kingston man has found a significant amount of cash on the streets and turned it in.

Back in July, 67-year old Hassel “Junior” Barber, who was homeless at the time, found a wallet with an ID and $485 lying on a Broadway sidewalk and turned it over to authorities.

The story posted on the Kingston Police Department’s Facebook page created quite a buzz in the local community. Shortly after, the owner was found and Barber said he just knew turning it in was the right thing to do.

Friday, as fate would have it, Barber was in the right place at the right time and found another wad of cash. He told an officer that was on patrol about his find and turned it in again.

The amount of cash that was found is unknown at this time.
