GLENVILLE, N.Y. -- A seminar is held to help inform veterans about business technology and opportunities offered throughout the Capital Region.

The event was hosted by Time Warner Cable’s VetNet group and SUNY Albany’s Veterans Business Outreach Center.

The key focus was on "Cloud Computing", and how the technology can impact small business operations.

Organizers say they want to embrace and help veterans with their business moving forward.

"I'm here to provide a service and let veterans know there is help out there for their business looking to start, expand, buy, or sell. It's a free service through the veteran outreach center," said Amy Amoroso, NYS Veterans Business Outreach Center.

Leaders say the technology will help veterans compete in the global marketplace. ClientIP:, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
