SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. -- It was a day of giving back for seniors at Saratoga Springs High School.
Hundreds of students and faculty volunteered Friday morning at more than 30 different community sites.
It's an annual tradition created by the school's Honor Society in 2008. The students headed out to local shelters and schools to help others.
"The community in Saratoga has helped us out so much. It's such a great place to live. They have given us some much opportunity. The fact that we can out and help is great too," said Maddy Staffanson, a senior.
The students say not only is it a great way to give back to their community but it's also a great way to encourage teamwork.
