SARATOGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- New York State Police are investigating a crash on the Northway over the weekend that killed one person.
According to troopers, 22-year-old Alexandra Parry was driving on the northway around 3 a.m. on Sunday near exit 11 when she lost control of her car. They said her car went off the right shoulder, hit a guardrail, and caused the car to flip in the air before coming to rest.
Parry was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. Her passenger was flown to Albany Medical Center and is listed in stable condition.
According to investigators, neither of them were wearing their seat belts.
