ROSENDALE, N.Y. -- It may be freezing cold outside but that isn't stopping people in the Hudson Valley from spending the day outside for a good cause.
Hundreds made their way out for the Annual Frozendale Festival on Main Street in Rosendale.
The event featured several local musicians and about a dozen local vendors.
Event Organizer Jesse Scherer says the event is a great way to bring locals together during the holiday season.
"You see, I think commerce can be such a unifying thing, actually making money, selling things, making things, it's such a diverse thing, so I think this is a really good way creatively, and sharing in this way to bring us together," said Jesse Scherer, Organizer of the Frozendale Festival.
Scherer says any leftover money from the event is donated to the local food bank or Toys for Tots.
