COLONIE, N.Y. -- The Jezreel International organization held a breakfast in Colonie to raise money for local veterans.

Veterans and other organizations gathered to kick off the Help Give Hope fundraiser. Proceeds will benefit renovations for a resource center.

The center will provide veterans and their families with cleaning supplies and personal care items. According to organizers, some veterans are falling through the cracks and are in need of supplies.

"This Miracle center will be able to give supplies to all veterans free of charge. Veterans will be able to come in, they'll be able to get clothing, furniture, and necessities," explained Jim Pratt, the general manager of Jezreel International.

The goal of the fundraiser is to raise $75,000 for the renovation, which would be completed by early summer. ClientIP:, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
