BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The Pro Football Hall of Fame weekend is officially underway.
About a hundred of football's biggest legends gathered for a photo shoot in front of the Hall of Fame building Friday morning.
Fans were crowding in front of the Hall trying to get a glimpse of their favorite players, coaches and personalities.
Sitting front and center was Andre Reed, who looked like the star of the show.
He was smiling ear to ear and exchanging hugs and handshakes with other Hall Of Famers.
Number 83 is getting a lot of support from his Super Bowl teammates too.
Bruce Smith and Thurman Thomas were here this morning.
Thomas says his partner on that high powered 90s team will enjoy this weekend, even though he should have been in a long time ago.
"It doesn't matter if you go in the first time, the second time or the third time, it's when you get in that you should enjoy the moment," said Thomas. "I've always relayed that to Andre every year, and this was the year that he finally made it."
"It's awesome. He's waited way too long, and we're all so happy and so proud of him," said Reed's high school classmate Joanne Hunsicker.
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, a Jamestown native, was also at Friday morning's shoot, congratulating Hall of Famers.
