First games of the high school football season are on Friday with only eight games in the regular season each week is huge.

For LaSalle they say week one will be a very good test.

The Cadets are getting set for Saratoga. It's a non-division game, but could go a long way in seeing where LaSalle is at right now.

They are adding some new pieces like transfers the Germinero brothers. Joe Germinero will be the starting quarterback.

Head coach Al Rapp says the first two weeks of the season could be big for LaSalle moving forward throughout the year.

"If we can play well in [the first two games], I'm pretty optimistic about how we can do," said Rapp. "If we stay healthy, we can make some noise."
