SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. -- It's another sign that spring has arrived; PJ's Barbeque has opened for the season.
The Saratoga Springs restaurant kicked off its 28th season this weekend, cooking up all kinds of beef, pork and chicken.
During the five and a half months they're open, PJ's will go through 45 tons of charcoal, ten tons of ribs and 50,000 halves of chicken. The owner says it's all part of making a tasty experience for his customers.
"I don't know who is more excited, us or the customers. We're so grateful to be back here doing this. This is our 28th time doing it. It's a lot of work but I love doing it because I love serving people and I love seeing people having a good time and enjoying our food,” said PJ Davis, owner.
PJ's is open through the middle of September.
