Improving Weather Ahead

After a mainly gray Friday with some showers around the Albany area, tonight will feature a few scattered lingering evening showers, patchy drizzle and some fog developing, but overall shower activity will mainly diminish.  Lows will be close to 60.

Low clouds and some fog will likely be pretty stubborn Saturday morning, but the sky should brighten with more breaks of sun developing during the afternoon with a few spotty showers possibly around, but overall Saturday should be an improving day.  High pressure will begin to sneak in from the north Saturday, which is what will bring more sun during the afternoon to the area, followed by a very Sunday with a good deal of sun and just a slight risk for a spotty shower in the mountains.  High temperatures Saturday will be in the mid to upper 70s, and up around 80 Sunday.

High pressure will move just east of the region early to mid next week leading to mid summer heat and great beach and pool weather!  Stay tuned to your Weather on the 1s Forecast for updates.

Have a great weekend!
