Sun to Clouds, Scattered Showers Late

Chilly, Brisk, Leftover Clouds Sunday

Low pressure moved further away overnight will partial clearing, areas of fog and temps from the 30s to the low 40s to start the day. Partial sun will give way to an increase in clouds with a few showers approaching from the north and west toward evening after highs top out from the upper 50s to around 60. Showers will be scattered and affect parts of the area during the evening as a cold front passes through. Behind the front we'll see leftover clouds and some chilly showers overnight in preferred lake effect areas, mainly west of the Capital Region and Hudson Valley. Sunday will be relatively windy with clouds more than sun and a passing sprinkle or shower, mixing with flakes in the higher terrain where highs will remain in the 40s with low to mid 50s around Albany. By Monday we should have an area of high pressure build in with a chilly start, increasing sun and a recovery to near 60 later. We should be well into the 60s by Tuesday.

Sun to Clouds, Scattered Showers Late

Chilly, Brisk, Leftover Clouds Sunday

Low pressure moved further away overnight will partial clearing, areas of fog and temps from the 30s to the low 40s to start the day. Sun will give way to an increase in clouds with a few showers approaching from the north and west toward evening after highs top out from the mid to upper 50s in the Catskills to the low to mid 60s in the Hudson Valley. Showers will be scattered and affect parts of the area, more north and mountains, during the evening as a cold front passes through. Behind the front we'll see leftover clouds and some chilly showers overnight, mainly west of the Valley and in the Catskills. Sunday will be relatively windy with clouds more than sun and a passing sprinkle or shower, mixing with flakes in the high terrain with highs mostly in the 50s, although shy of 50 in parts of the Catskills. By Monday we'll have an area of high pressure build in with a chilly start, increasing sun and a recovery to 60 or higher later. We should be well into the 60s to maybe near 70 by Tuesday.
